It’s a Wizard shop Peter! Special guest this month Ben Potter joins Pete and Spoons to tell all about his exciting new venture, The Bunker collectibles shop, just opened in Hogwarts - err sorry, Royston near Barnsley in the frozen North.
The show opens with a remembrance of poster artist Drew Struzan, who recently passed, and a chat about the lads’ favourite posters. Rich expands the New Acquisitions section to take in any old tat, and there’s another international Face-Off, taking in Croatia, Venezuela, Israel and the land of Dog Chow.
Andy P hosts a colourful cardback quiz, and the NA shout-outs feature some tasty 32-backs, a cracking carnival mirror, a trio of vinyl capes, an exciting early bird, and a lovely lenticular poster.
Rebel Briefings brings in stories from around the collecting world including fab food ads, a Toy Fair find, Boba’s blaster, the final (sob!) Farthest From, featured finds from Vectis, and re-living Echo Live.
Licensee this month is Burtons Biscuits, who produced a range of ‘Crisp biscuits sprinkled with mint sugar’ in Star Wars packaging, popular with 80s kids in Britain. This sparks an outbreak of biscuity nostalgia among the lads, and cookie cravings. Plenty of Zollux and banter along the way, find the podcast in all the usual places.
