Vintage Prices....

Dug out all my old cardbacks from when I was a wee nipper, quite a few have prices on them,

Tebbo on a ROTJ card Ã'£2.99, (I wouldn't pay that for him now, god know's what I was thinking then!)
Dengar on a Tri Logo card Ã'£2.99,
Chief Chirpa on a ROTJ card Ã'£1.99,
Stormtrooper on a ROTJ card Ã'£1.99 (twice),
Gam Guard on a ROTJ card from "Frederick Thomas Belfast & Lisburn" Ã'£1.95,
R2-D2 (sensor scope) on a ROTJ card from "Supermac" Ã'£1.99 reduced to 50p,
General Madine on a ROTJ card from "Leisureworld" 99p
B-Wing Pilot on a Tri Logo card again from "Leisureworld" 99p.

I remember they used to have these huge displays in Leisureworld in Belfast, I was quite happy just to sit and stare for hours.

Those were the days! :D

I'd love to go back and see what all the toy shops in the 80's were like. I can hardly remember
It'd be so tempting to buy a few things as well!

They also used to have a briiliant display as you entered the shop, in the big glass case at the top of the ramp

Yeah I remember that. :D 8)
I remember walking in one time and they had a Hoth scene set up, there must have been 6 or 7 AT-AT's in there and god knows what else. It was brilliant!
Is Leisure world still there or has it closed down? Been years since I've been to that part of Belfast. I know the one in Lisburn closed ages ago.

Its a nice flat car park now I think - well it was a few years back. Not sure if they've built over it

are you still compiling a list Dave?

I found a few more labels on my stuff this weekend

TIE interceptor £9.99 from Kiddie City (I've not heard of that shop before, but I think Weasel may have  )

Rancor £15.99 from Tescos

and an INT 4 at 8.99 from 'The Speciality Shops' not sure if that is pounds or dollars - seems very pricey

Hi all
I've mentioned this before, three figs for a pound, late eighties/very early nineties from my local market in North Wales. All tri logo, and I deffo remember Yak and Luke stormy being amongst them. That sticker that you often see on Luke stormy, the yellow one with NEW FIGURE was plastered all over em. I'm not 100% sure but I also seem to recall lots of vehicles such as Endor ranger, Ewok glider etc selling for cheap as chips. Me and my mates were sick to the back teeth of Starwars by then, all the toys I had as a kid were ESB cards and vehicles.
