Vintage Newsgroups

Maybe I am dating myself but does anyone use newsgroups anymore? I remember in the mid 90s the place to be was rec.arts.sf.starwars.collecting.vintage
I havent use newsgroup in years and not even suer if they are still around. I guess I am dating myself. I use to even use local BBS over a dial on to chat with people but in the late 80s

Newsgroups are still around. There not really used for collector exchanges though. I use them mostly for multimedia stuff. Giganews is a great pay provider or you can take your chances with your ISP offering them for free but heavily moderated or full of broken headers.
