Hi. came across a real gem here. Got an original kenner star destroyer toy.
Box in pretty good shape, would say C7? But contents never been used!
All complete in original wrappers and parts never been assembled with all original
inlay intact and complete. Instructions and original stickers all here as well.
Have taken pics of outer box, but can post pics of contents inside if needed (but as all
Mint and unused didnt seem necessary to be honest!
What sort of price? have seen some on ebay in VGC with box, but obv used, go for over £100...
Am hoping I am right in thinking I got a nice piece!
Was wondering if worth getting graded?? UK graded though as opposed to AFA...
but dont understand the process or costs... or value it adds and if it is/isnt worth while!
Help me out here guys!

Hi Welcome to the Forum! Love your name BTW!

This is a fairly common toy TBH. I sold one on ebay earlier this year for £50. It was complete with Instructions. So I would £60-70 for yours.

HI.
thanks for replying.
"That wasn't the answer I was looking for!"..."you can go about your business... move along.." :)

Yes,I appreciate they are common,I have seen fair few sold, but, I have searched and have not found any in original packaging, unsused such as this one....

Maybe you are right, but this is MINT...
interesting to see what others think.....

I agree with the above. If it was a sealed box, it would go for more.

Yeah, I agree to a point what you guys are saying, but by definition, Mint in Box is not the same as Mint in the box
is it? And it is Mint in the box- never been out other than to check all there..
Of course it would be worth more if was sealed! but again Mint In Sealed Box is different to MIB or Mint In The Box.
All in all, I have not found anything to compare it with in the looking i have done..
I have seen an assembled good condition complete one that went for £80.. And the guy cocked the auction up IMO....
And I have already had offers well in excess of what has been suggested thus far.....
Has anyone out there sold or brought one in this sort of condition?? (Mint In The Box, unassembled).
If so don't be shy!!
Once again cheers guys for your opinions!! keep em coming!

I saw one finish on evilbay Germany at approx £140 a few weeks ago. It to had all parts sealed, inserts, unused stickers etc but the box was in slightly better condition than yours.

Hope that helps

I think that a lot of people expect boxed items to go for more because they 'seem' rare but in general I don't think that is the case unless the box is shop stock mint or unsealed

Looking at completed listings in the States a few have sold for around the $90-$150 mark

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_okw=&_oexkw=&_adv=1&LH_Complete=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=200&_fpos=&_fsct=&LH_SALE_CURRENCY=0&_sop=3&_dmd=1&_nkw=star+destroyer+boxed&_pgn=2&_skc=50&rt=nc

So I would say Liam's £60-£70 is about on the money
