Hi All,

Anyone have any idea how much i should be paying for a loose vintage shuttle?

All I'm seeing are modern ones but I want a ROTJ release,

Complete loose Imo £100 -150 the variance in price is because these yellow very easy.

theres loads state side but it would cost loads to ship over here.

i could be off on price. Im sure others will chime in

have a holiday booked to the US in december......dreading what i'll see over there (and what i'll bring back!)

mainly going to look for the last 4 loose figures I need (Yak, Snag, 9D9, Luke Stormie) but if it's like my last trip last year i may have to buy another suitcase for the return trip!

not sure what vintage Star Wars you will come across on a holiday :? Not unless it's some sort of Toy Hunter esque vintage toy scavenge holiday. Can't see the family enjoying that much

At farthest from there were two shuttles for sale in their boxes.

Think Iain had his up for £140 and if I remember rightly Jamie (FuzzyBuzzyToys) was selling one for around £120 if those prices are a guideline. Not sure if they sold them or not maybe worthwhile asking them as both trusted sellers.

quite a few flea markets around Orlando....i'll enjoy myself while others hang upside-down from park rides!

:D

Had 2 weeks in Orlando during April which was spent upside down on the park rides

did see some flea markets advertised and had wanted to go but never found the time

Prices are all over the place for these. I paid £100 including shipping from US. I wouldn't pay more than £120 over here but you will see many go for £200+ which is odd.

I still have a boxed one - box isn't amazing but ship is on good shape - could do it for £125 + postage if that's any good?

thanks Iain, will get back to you on that (just bought quite a few cardbacks that have eaten into this months 'mad money'!)

Also....thanks for all the advice from everyone else.

:)

Cant see you picking up a yak in the states for less than you would pay over here as he is scarcer over there and they go nuts for him, hope you do like  have a gooden :)

Have a great trip Rob and good luck in your search. Just to say Yak can go for crazy prices over in the states as he wasnt released there. You do probably still have a slightly better chance getting one a little cheaper here

i passed on a complete loose shuttle on here last year for £75 it was extremely yellowed though almost caramac colour but i liked that about it, thought it over for a few days then told the seller no thanks, then i wanted it again but it had sold, i seem to remember someone on here buying it and using it for a whitening experiment and completey ruining it? it all melted and buckled, not sure which member it was though.

i went to new york in 2010 expecting to find some vintage star wars stuff but there was very little and all overpriced, found a shop with loose figures the barada worked out to be £40, i passed.

agree with the guys on here, yak will cost you more in the states but blue snagg you may get cheaper.

happy hunting!

a friend of mine who collect MotU vintage recently went to a large flea market in Orlando and told me there were stalls of vintage SW stuff that were really cheap.

He did see a boxed Falcon selling for $50 (not sure which version) and quite a few carded figures for $20-30 so hoping to see something there. Also with it being just before Christmas they may be willing to do a deal to raise some cash quickly!

If it comes to it Fed-Ex are just down the road from this place and i'll crate it all up and ship back to post on here! :D
