Yes you can obtain ROMs (either legally or illegally) and just copy them to the SD card. That's the main reason I bought it :)

I love consoles, at the mo I have set up in the games room two SNES's (one UK the other US), Jap/US Dreamcast, Orange (Jap/US) Gamecube, US N64 with the DD drive for F-Zero track making, Jap Saturn and a Jap Megadrive.

The Megadrive started it all for me, got over 200 Jap carts now.

I was lucky to go to Tokyo for part of my honeymoon in 2005, spent a tone on stuff out there!

i had loads op emulatorss.used to love the mame arcede one had 3000 games on wonder boy ,pacland ,double dragon ,pang, space harrier .you could go to arcedes for a few hours with a few quid it costs that for one game now

At the moment I've got a C64 with 1541ii disk drive (gotta love the 5.25 floppies) an Amiga 600 with 4gb CFHDD and a mighty 6mb of RAM!! An Amiga CD32, SNES, Dreamcast and multiple Region Sega Saturn

Downstairs there's the wii, Xbox360 slim and PS3!!

Thank christ the wife is a gamer as well as a SW fan :D

She still has her original copies of Bantha Tracks :D

However she is concerned with me taking over the den/computer room!!

I was a Snes man in my younger days. Absloutley loved it. Every now and then i I buy one on ebay, then sell it a couple of months later because it takes up space, then buy one again a couple of months later because i get the withdrawal pangs!!! :D

I have a Snes style USB pad I use it with my netbook to play SNES, NES, Megadrive, Master System, 32X, C64 Emus :D

1000s of retro games on one little laptop - perfect for the commute.

Andy

God I loved SOTE and Rogue Squadron on the N64 - between those and Goldeneye I'm surprised that I ever made it through Uni all those years ago!!!
