Vectis SW Auction 08.12.15

My wife bid on a couple of things yesterday as a surprise for me and won 2 lots, got them today and well chuffed, I am lucky as I only live 30 miles from their auction house so was able to nip down today

I haven't had an email from them yet but can see items in the 'lots won' so guess it will be over soon - might have to buy a couple of Christmas beers for someone to collect and post them to me

The last auction I had the items in 2 weeks , the time before that is was 5 weeks . However we did give them plenty of bashing on here , and they assured us they had plenty more staff and would sent out Asap

It does usually take at least a couple of weeks, they also use a specialist courier which from memory was £18 last time, a lot to spend on postage for a single MOC if it's not too expensive. I'm sorted now thanks to Rich

Yeah 2 weeks last time for me too. I'm assuming, no, hoping they timed this auction with the intention of us getting some nice Christmas Prezzies.

In my first Vectis auction I spent quite a bit so sent them an email pointing that out (nicely) and it was with me a couple of days later (3 weeks in total) If you're particularly desperate I'm sure they would put you top of the list if you asked nicely.

I was told in no uncertain terms that the aim was to get this auction all posted out BEFORE Christmas. The following auction would not be out by then though. So provided you've paid rapidly you should get a nice present from Santa (and your credit card company).
