Yeah the cape is everything mate, all the value, it would be like buying a 12 back with a tear, massively reduces it, that tear doesnt look small and it could get worse in transit.

There could also be a few other tears and scuffs too that he is hiding, if your gonna pay £200+ make it minty

You're not getting ripped off on a fake buddy, it's the real deal and not that bad of a deal really. The figure looks minty and the cape looks good minus the 1 tear. If the tear bothers you, I would understand looking elsewhere.

Jedi534- Why so upset about the cross-hatching. If it were a repro cape, that would be a good point to consider. While cut-down Kenobi capes would still have the cross-hatching, you would be able to spot the armholes and cut of cape would be different. As far as I know, the european Vader's and Snowtroopers are the only ones with no cross-hatch on 1 side of the cape.

It does look pretty nice, the paint looks great, even on the hands which can get a pasting on loose Jawas. Its not a terrible deal but I want a mint figure for $380!!! 8)

An AFA 85 VCJ usually goes for $600-$625. I bought an AFA 85 equivalent loose fig for $580, which was a lot, but I'm pretty picky. For $380, you're probably gonna get at least 1 flaw or AFA 80 type figure. I would see if the seller would accept $350, which would be a good deal imo.

380 dollars is 235 pounds so it's not a bad price for the thing but i do see these come up quite often, undamaged for about that price. The only thing is if you have it shipped to the UK from the states you are going to incur about a £40 tax charge when it arrives.

I've had a wee look, I remember him saying it somewhere on RS, he also had a Jawa MOC with some faults but it looks like that one was graded anyway as a MOC so maybe I am mistaken, however it is the kind of thing he would say despite the feelings about U grades, I reckon he quite enjoys pissing others off with his collecting habits.

It was graded in june 2010 so he probably did it himself. :evil:
