variant jawa belt sculpts

Never realised that there were 2 sculpts let alone that different :shock:

That's one of the great things about variant collecting when these sort of things crop up - always something new to get :D

Must check my Jawas although i don't have a VC yet...

can see 3 so far will wait for photo's coco
 
I think its really funny how the original sculpt of the VC Jawa the figure had a hood sculpted, when they changed the cape to more of a cloak they just didn't bother removing the hood! LOL

So cloth capes have two hoods,can't imagine it was cold on Tatooine!!
 
Does anyone really know what a Jawa looks like without a hood? To me it seems there's just darkness with two lights in it. Wonder if Kenner did know.

No I don't ...BUT..

Don't be silly! They had a huge ****ing Sandcrawler! Thats the Jawa equivalent of a mobile home! I don't think they parked it up for the night and then went outside to sleep :lol: :lol:
 
I asked about this over a year ago over at the scum but I didnt get very far. Anyway, here are the 2 that I know of and I havn't seen a third version. Also, nevermind the fake capes.

My regular VC jawa has the same belt sculpt as your with the right colour cape, and my Toltoys VC jawa has the same belt sculpt as your ben kenobi Cape Jawa.
And i noticed that the LL Jawa belt sculpt matches the second sculpt, but is painted very dark brown.?
