Value for a Kenner Stormie with Takara sticker

Howdy, oh wise and knowledgeable forum members!

How much you reckon for a Kenner sculpt 12bk Stormtrooper with Takara sticker please? Excellent condition to my eyes. I'm looking to buy rather than sell.

Whilst on the subject, how much for a Takara sculpt 12bk Stormtrooper please? Is it worth me holding out for one? How often do they come up?

I have tried searching historic threads on here, but the values are probably a couple of years out of date. Recent ebay prices seem to suggest $550 - $600. What do we reckon please?

$500 - 600 would be about right for a decent takara stormie, bit more for a mint one. They are probably the most common takara and do come up quite regularly but IMO represent good value for a 12 back as they look great!

Forget about an alt sculpt MOC as they come up very rarely, perhaps one a year on the open market (could be wrong). Furthermore you would be looking at a minimum of $1k for even an average one. The loose figure on its own in decent condition would run around $500. The alt sculpt stormie MOC is by far the hardest of the three takara alt MOCs to get. The white background vader pops up far more frequently than the stormie.

If you are patient and wait for the right opportunity you should get one in the above price range, I sold a nice one here about 6 months back for less than that. However with that being said, current 12 back pricing is all over the place so dont take my word as gospel :wink:

Out of interest, what would an alt sculpt Vader go for please? I'm loving all things Japanese Star Wars right now (alt sculpt 3P0 will be making an appearance in LA thread when I have time to take some pics...)
