I'm no Democrat by any means, but Dubbya's achievements are;
1) War in Afghanistan.
2) War in Iraq.
3) An increase in global hatred towards the US (none of these three have helped "make America safer" quite the opposite!
4) The budget deficit when he took over was exactly $0.00 and now its a about half a TRILLION dollars! :shock:
Ohh and 5) A dodgey election victory given to him by judges appointed by his auld fella! :roll:
Surely Obama will have to 'go some' to beat that!?
I know he has issued a lot of promises, without substance, but it beats letting the village idiot run your country!
I didn't realize you were so pasionate about American Politics. This country is in the shitter at the moment and we are taking the rest of the world down with us. I guess I will remain optimistic concerning Mr. Obama when it comes to our money problems and the war. Hey at least our gas prices are at an all time low $1.96 a gallon!
I wouldn't say I was passionate about US (or British) politics. I did a bit of it at School and Uni so it still interests me now. I was just amazed that people voted for Dubbya again. John Kerry wasn't exactly the greatest politician of his generation, but at least he could count to 11 without taking his socks off!
Like I said before, there aren't many decent leaders/politicians around at the minute. So i wouldn't worry we're in the same boat as you!
It just as **** in the UK. :lol:
