The thought of digging up a few Jedi figures from a tip doesn't appeal really. Although I do have recurring dreams about being in this old shop and somehow getting the storeroom and there being several dusty sealed boxes with Palitoy on the side. Which the owner then sells to me for a couple of quid. Then before I can open them the alarm goes off :wink:

I have a similar dream, and it's dammed annoying. As I learnt more about Star Wars, my dreams got more specific and involved.

I even told myself in the drea, 'This time it's not a dream' :roll:

there used to be a land fill site near where i used to live ,we used to go on when it shut and get c64/speccy/amstrad cassettes ,**** loads of tennis balls and iron on slazenger clothes labels so all my school shirts were slazenger ,then again about 90% of lads where i grew up had them as well :lol: :lol:

Only a few years ago my ma found an old Klaatu figure burried in one of her flower beds.

I belive this was around the time that toy tony bought the two truck full of carded stock?

I did hear a rumour about 10 years ago that joiner had also bought a large amount of the same figure, possibly tie fighter pilot? the story I heard was that he used this to increase the amount of items he had, to allow him to be officailly named as having the worlds largest collection..I have no idea if this is true or not :roll:
