So its a new release?, had a quick look on flidbay but could not see any for sale, sweet item indeed, got sod all SW for christmas myself, but I like to buy my own SW stuff or you always get the wrong thing, looks like mine could do with some SW buying tips from yours.

It was released 2009 I think and have really wanted it so my girlfriend surprised me by getting it off ebay

It is very cool, one of my favourite pieces I own. Just taken a couple of quick shots to hopefully show how cool

Awesome

Finally sorted my final display cabinet out, and although its not vintage, my Kubrick tower. Huge fan of the kubricks and they take a lot of their cues from the vintage line, so I always think its worth mentioning!

Totally agree with your statement about Star Wars Kubricks - they do take a lot of their cues from the original vintage line.

Nice to have another Kubrick Collector on the forum, I mainly collect vintage, but have a soft spot for Kubricks and have a few myself

Love the Kubrick Tower :)

Thanks stormie! Glad to know there is someone on here who likes them too! Almost have a complete set of the series and I do adore them! As you can probably tell from the size of the tower. Would love to see your collection!

Nice display, great cabinets, where are they from?

Guy called affordable cabinets I think it is on eBay, very good pricing.... The grey one is an ex shop display victorianox cabinet

I don't have as many as you, but do have one of the DX Series - (number 3 Tatooine) including the background cardback, I just need Hammerhead to complete the set, but he's impossible to find. Thinking of getting the DX number 2 series (Hoth) but cost is a major factor and the 2 chase figures are mega bucks

Does that mean you have uncle Owen? Chases for the deluxe are crazy at the moment, haven't had the funds to get any apart from the basic sets for them

Yes, I've got Uncle Owen did pay quite a bit for him but under £100. Again have not seen him for sale anywhere for ages, as you say prices for chases of the deluxe series are crazy, that's if you can find some of them they seem very elusive.

Absolutely... I am very envious of your uncle Owen, he is very high on my want list but just can't find him!

I never really thought it was fair of modern companies to release such limited numbers of figures in order to create a frenzy on the secondary market, Vintage figures that are scarce and as a result pricey are scarce for legitimate reasons and not manufactured with the collector in mind which is one of the many reasons I only stick to Vintage. Sorry for the ramble, I think the Kubrick stuff you have is great but I can't imagine spending £100 give or take on one of those

I know what you mean Joe, but these Inge can be rather addictive. And in all fairness to Medicom the kubricks are a Japanese exclusive that the rest of us just really want!

It is getting better and better, I love the new pictures. Great collection you have 8)

Looks really good spooked, which cases are you using (sorry if you said already?)
