The title almost says it all!

These pieces were listed by Brian's Toys, prob the world's biggest SW dealer.
Only prob is for virtually each item, the high bidder is a zero hit ebayer :?

Brian I though you were an honest man of God
You should be ashamed of yourself

Do you mean such as this one? I was about to mention it myself. Crazy money

thats crazy, there is little difference between an 85 grade and 90, certainly not 8k difference

can only be someone with a strong fetish for the number or money to burn

Either someone is messing about with the sellers auctions - deliberately pushing the price up and then not going to pay to piss the seller off or the seller is shill bidding his items. To much of a coincidence that there is a zero bidder involved in these auctions pushing the price up.

I was just about to post the same thing - I need 4 left to complete my 12 back run and these prices are just ridiculous! However I still don't see what the problem is on here with outing an auction - what's so bad about linking to a live auction that's in everone's interest - I don't get this unwritten rule?

Its just collecting etiquette... :D

You may have found a poorly listed item that will go for a decent price, once the auction is posted on a collecting forum that nice little listing you discovered is now going to rocket in price. Not only that but people can get involved with messages etc and really cock up the auction.

I know in this day and age anyone can find everything on the web but every now and then people find little gems, its annoying when these gems are publicised to a larger audience. It might be a slightly selfish point of view as finding something does not give you 'divine rights' to be the only bidder but I can see why its an unwritten rule that should be adhered to.

I do agree with the above although my earlier comment was just a joke as I think it's more than fine to link something that's going for a crazy amount, especially when it has many bids on it. It's all part of the fun for us seeing what these things go for from time to time. :D

Comedy always trumps etiquette on SWFUK

Good thing is people don't usually bid on comical listings
