Just days after coming back to WWE for his Hall of Fame and appearance on RAW.

Childhood hero.

Yeah, I remember him from my years of watching WWF. Always a shame to see a childhood favourite pass away.

What odds it was a heart attack? So many of the wrestlers from those days died from them. Sadly, paying the price for all those steroids.

Loved the wrestler/character back in the day but the man was a piece of ****. A real nasty piece of work. I used to read the vile hate filled religious rants of his on his blog/website. "Faggots go to hell" and all that sort of bile. Utter **** of the truest kind.

Yeah I heard pretty much the same Pete. Ultimate Warrior was a great character as a kid one of my favourites but the man behind the mask was a complete nutter.

My favorite wrestler, you cant beat the hogan warrior match when he hold both belts

although from his interviews he seemed an asshole, he was the best WWF wrestler

Agree with all of the above but no matter how much of an arsehole the guy was in real life, his character was awesome and he did the job well. Wrestlemania VI is still talked about around the world now for that title match. I can remember watching it thinking the usual, fixed for a Hogan win, then the legdrop missed, the splash was on and the rest was history 8)
