U Grade mass destruction?

If anything the "new guard" are some of the most generous, friendly and kind people in the hobby- I have made some cracking friends on here in the last 6 months.

You talk about camaraderie- I would say there is infinitely more on here than RS...... I suggest you are the uninformed one here dude- this forums foundations are based on helping each other out.
I suggest you spend an hour or so reading some of the old threads through if you think camaraderie is dead.

I would definitely consider myself one of the new guard and take great offence at the suggestion that there is no camaraderie on here - I have met and spoken with 15-20 of the people on this board and don't have a bad word to say about any of them - there are some great personalities on here and from what I have seen everyone has been very helpful and accommodating to other members of the board

I would agree with you on the above. We are all humble on here no matter if we own a handful of beat-up figures....a massive collection...or are just starting out. I do have to say that I can see how all this going on would scare away new guys from coming on board....but I just cannot stand the elitist attitudes some have.

You can`t use **** in the states though mate. I worked in NY and you could make a room full of guys freeze using that word. I remeber the first time I said it, the guy next to me looked horrified. They seem to view it the same way women do here, they get really offended.

I think everyone is just sick of re-debating the U grade stuff, when new members join the thread starts again when they realise what it is.

Its been done to death over and over again.

lets have an end to it, none of us are paying the inflated prices and lets keep it that way, let the other collectors do what they want.

ive seen U grade collectors sell up for a huge loss, it will go away.

They are toys and there is much more important things in life

ANY more threads start and they will be locked and pointed to the U grade FAQ sticky thread.

Here in the states "****" is the worst thing you could call a woman....guys have had their penis chopped off for it. I agree...lock this thread...it is getting tired.

As Andy said, any more U threads that get out of hand and we will just lock them up and point people (newbies) to the relevant threads like the U grade FAQ for more information and discussion which is a sticky anyway.

There is also the ebay thread about U grades and their ridiculous prices if you just want to post something silly up for the rest of us to have a laugh at.

Hopefully we can get back to just having a giggle, rest assured the entire SWF mod team do not agree with U grading but all this arguing is just getting us nowhere.
