Here's a quick bit of trivia to test how well you know vintage toys,

Just noticed a cool little tidbit whilst perusing the forums, there was an vintage item released by Kenner that is Star wars themed/related but not of the Star Wars line.

Anyone know which item that may be?

Hint : it was part of a play set.

The Indiana Jones playset with 3PO and R2 as part of the backdrop?

It's the well of souls playset and te stone block

How cool is that? I know the droids were in the film (carved on the walls) but to put them in the playset was really showing attention to detail - Lucasfilm must've let them in on the secret I think.

Spot on Spoons, didn't think it would take long.

How cool is that, as Slider said I knew about them being in the film but never knew they were included in the playset.

They are quality playsets, might have to start collecting them one day

Another bit of Raiders trivia for you

Which two Raiders of the lost Arc actors have appeared as Lego Minifigs from two different movies

One is very easy, and the other I hadn't realised was even in it

There is another Raiders actor with two lego characters, but one of his Minifigs is only in the video game and wasn't produced

I know Julian Glover was in them, and was it Belloq (Paul Freeman) whos figure wasnt produced?

Sallah (john rhys davies) had a lego indiana fig and he was the main dwarf in lotr there is a fig of that too

Sallah is one - but I thought his minifig was just in the game (it wasn't the best researched quiz :)). What lego set did he come with?

Of the other two, one also appeared in Star Wars  and one in Spider-Man 2....

They have Mini figs for Raiders and those films

Just noticed this thread and thanks for sharing the playlet info. I picked up one of these sets the other day and didn't even realise! I knew there was a reason it was calling out for me to buy it. :D

i stand corrected i assumed there was a mini fig as he was a major character.

He was only in the video game ''Sallah appears in Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures as a playable character with the digging ability. In the Last Crusade, he is unlocked with a Fez, and helps Indy defeat Colonel Vogel.''

I had to check as I couldn't believe he wasn't made

The others are Indiana Jones/Han Solo - Harrison Ford

Satipo (the double crossing boulder cave guy)/Doc Ock - Alfred Molina (never knew they were the same guy)

I'm sure I read somewhere that these are the only Raiders Actors with Kenner/Hasbro figures from two different films, but I struggle to believe that. Who makes the LOR figures?
