Great article Joe and you are right; the research product of focus collectors is invaluable. I respect focus collectors immensely and love seeing single figure focusses. I'm just not sure I'm committed enough to be a one figure kind of guy yet! I love them all and choosing a favourite would feel like a betrayal

Nice article, and the point you make about focus collectors having to research the hobby in depth (to identify every foreign producer and cardback variation for their chosen figure) is what I admire most focus collections.

The one negative that I might throw out there is how easy would it be to sell a focus collection if you or a loved one ever needed to. (I don't have the pics but I do remember in the RS classifieds once there was a guy who had literally a whole room full of Yoda merchandise, around 1000 individual pieces and I dont think he found a buyer).

The thing for me is the time and dedication that focus collectors put in, dedication and patience, but I'm sure the " pay off" when a variant is found is a great feeling.
It has a great knock on effect for the community at large in regard to the knowledge amassed by focus collectors, who share their knowledge...got to be a good thing For us all. :wink:

Do you know of any trilogo Lobot miscards mate,I don't think I've ever seen any? 8)
