Trilogo fett

Watching a nice one on ebay this evening go for £310.

Not trying to start a pointless argument about what it is worth, but it just seemed odd because I've only been collecting for 6 months and they seemed to be £100-150 for a nice one, even on ebay / buy it now etc

It was a minty looking figure, and maybe there's something special about it that went over my head (if so, please shed some light).

I'd actually quite to get one... but not £310 badly! At this rate I might have to scrub him off my WTB list!

It is worth more if it's the "real trilogo Fett" as it's only found on French Meccano tris but £310 sounds steep to me, even for mint. I had a normal double scar one recently (trilogo/palitoy) for £55 and have seen a nice Meccano for about £120

I think the one you saw go for £310 was the rarer paint combo - with the painted knee. Unpainted knee/unpainted dart is really quite common and you can pick one up for less than £100 if you shop around but the other combos are harder to find, but £310 does sound expensive.

It was indeed... still thought I've seen these go for nearer the 200 mark fairly recently, didn't realise they were that much harder to find ... As ever with ebay I guess you just need a few very interested parties and the price can run away.

Thanks for the useful info chaps. Probably blasphemous around these parts, but I can't get too excited over painted or unpainted knees/darts, I just think the lighter fett looks better for display purposes!
I will look out for the cheaper variants instead which will be plenty good enough for my loose collection.

Same seller that got an absurd amount of money for an orange hair Luke FB not so long back too.
Fett prices are on the rise though, I don't see them getting any cheaper anytime soon. A complete set of trilogo Fetts are very attractive, as such prices can fluctuate for different variants as people chase a certain variation. Some variants are worth more than others, but some 'lesser 'variants achieve greater prices sometime merely if two people need the item.
Bide your time, but don't wait too long
