Seeing as the blue snag is on a lot of collectors list of 'must have' figure to complete a collection, how come the good ol trash compactor monster isn't.
? That little rubbery fella is a cool figure IMO

:)

It's never been top of my pops. And it's woefully inaccurate, I mean, unless I had been told it was the trash compactor monster if have thought it was a rogue toy from "The Never Ending Story" or similar.

You could also say that blue snag who we know is inaccurate and whilst we're at it 2-1B as his lower limbs never appeared in the movie so kenner made it up, and come to think about it max rebo doesn't have 4 limbs?!?!

check out this....

Very interesting, thanks.
But come on, it's luminous green and appears to have wings of some sort (ok maybe fins).
It just looks ****. Double stamped. You can't triple stamp a double stamp!

I agree with you Nick, although I suppose the same could be said about good old blue snag as well.

Possibly, though wasn't the set that the Blue Snag came in more of way of marketing the 4 figures that came with it, rather than as a specific playset like the deathstar, of which the dianoga was a minor part?

Bit like the Rebel command and Bespin sets.

I certainly wouldn't consider the dianoga a figure necessary for a 'complete' loose figure set. I'd only ever consider figures that sold MOC

I didn't even know the Dianoga was its name or available until I started collecting again as an adult.

Then again I didn't even know Blue Snag was about either

I would have liked a Dianoga as a kid though, the mystery around what it looked like made it a great creature in the film. Just that one periscopic eye 8)

Oh no Chubb  Just wait till TFB sees that quote...........there'll be numerous ' one eye'd monster ' jokes on their way

I know your type, lurking, popping up occasionaly, trying to grab yourself a Luke Stormie only to disappear as soon as a bit of pressure is applied... :D
