Toyhunter episode - 12" MIB Figures - I want some

That programme is starting to really get on my tit ends  He pays peanuts for the dagobah playset which is in lovely condition and then tells us he is going to make $20 selling it on?? What i wanker, i would love that in my collection but can't afford the triple it would cost me over here compared to what he rips someone off for the absolute nob head.

I managed 2 episodes and couldn't watch anymore of that smarmy little prick and his scripted bullshit.

I've watched 4 episodes now and I was shocked at the lowball prices that collectors are prepared to part with their collectables for.

I'm thinking about flying out to the states if vintage toys are that cheap over there

Vintage Star Wars toys seem much cheaper in the States.

Any decent dealer should pay two thirds to three quarters of mark up value.

The UK Star Wars Forum should do its own TV show about toy collecting! Nominations for the presenter !!!

How about Joe Ed and Mr Palitoy ???

I vote for Karen she could do it as one of them Adult channel phone-ins. Just her & her sandcrawler...

Do not let that show fool you. Toys can get quite pricey over here. I wish I could find some one to to sell me vintage carded figures at $10 a pop. It does not happen.

Ok I've had a few bargains in vintage stuff from the States that's all. I just don't understand why these people give their stuff away so cheap!

It's a TV show and most of the deals are set-ups for the show.

Personally I think they exchange for more but set up the deal for the show on a lower price just so that he can look a bit better when he sells it on and makes more money.

I mean come on Jordan wouldn't want to do anything that would make him look stupid would he

Thought it seemed a bit set up !

The sellers look a bit silly. Here have my 30 year old boxed complete toy for 20 dollars.

Thought old Jordan was using Jedi mind tricks !

As other people have said, it's TV so it's all contrived.

The two episodes I've watched he's acted as an agent - one was the rocket firing Boba Fett - on a lot of the stuff.

Anyway he's an annoying **** who grooms 16 year old girls/middle aged fanboys.

I dont understand why these ppl sell at those pricesxwhen he tells them what he can sell them for. If they wasnt so lazy and listed on ebay eventually they might sell for more profit or just let him broker them all for 20 percent like he does sometimes for 30 percent more profit

or let him borrow their teenage daughter for a few hours for toy grade training in trade. :D

Hmm anyone see that last one? 25 dollars he paid that woman for a mint ROTJ boba. I know its set up but that's pathetic.
Yeah I thought that was just bad editing though as he said he paid like 300 dollars in total for all her stuff and should make 500 so maybe that wasnt inc.

I did laugh at the comic store ond though. If u r into making money u dont sttore star wars items away for 30 years in backroom and sell to a dealer. U would try to make as much profit as poss.
Most of season 2 is on youtube so might start watching it there
