I am sorry if this topic has been done to death, could someone confirm one question I have about Toy Toni's?
Do I understand that the only cards affected are Palitoy, German General Mills and Clipper and that all Kenner cards are ok?
Thanks

Thanks so much for answering my question.
I have been away from Star Wars for 15 years now, and this problem was not about then, so have read as much as I can about this subject here, just wanted it confirmed what I understood to be correct.
Again, many thanks.

I was not aware of that, I must find the auction pictures of my collection that I sold and see if there were any poss TT.
If I remember right I mainly only bought Kenner and Palitoy with the logo on the front of the card then, so hopefully I did not pass any TT's on to someone else. :)

Don't worry about it, everyone was clueless....

Apart from my Dad, who always said somone was making them to order! He tells me now I told you so.

Everyone bought and sold TTs 10-15years ago... I had a load in my old MOC set back in 2003 which I sold on... I know they were as bought them from him personally. Did I know they were fakes... Hell no. Do I worry about it... Hell no... it was way before the truth came to light.

It's only now if you sell one without full disclosure that the forum police will kick ya butt..

I had a look through the auction pictures of my MOC's that I sold in 2012, as I thoight they were all Kenner or Palitoy with the logo on the front of the card, so no TT.
I stopped collecting in 1998, so was totally unaware of this.
What your dad said about making them to order, that is the sort of thing that my dad would have said, brought back great memories.

I remember my Dad looking at them in 99' and then looking at me saying this. I said to him no there reel trust me!

This was the same year I brought a fake VC Jawa for £120 though!

How do dads see through the hype that we are blind too?
A different generation?
Another of his saying was "how much for that little bit of plastic?"
Oh what great memories, I remember when VC Jawas were around the £100 mark...

Whats the saying...
If only I knew then what I know now...oh why don't I have access to a DeLorian.

I passed on SO many £75 VCJs because they were overpriced

I remember my Dad saying in the late 90's if I had known how much they were going to be worth I would have brought 2 of everything.

I remember him saying it like it was yesterday and now looking back I should have brought 2 of everything in the late 90's!

Thats the thing prices are high now but in 5 years I might wish I bought a VCJ for a £1000 now! because I'll probably need a loan the way things are going if I am ever to get one
I think I have now released I'll never own one

Yep same, unless I happen to get lucky and find one badly listed or in a lot I won't get one either. Simply not worth anywhere near what they sell for now. I'd rather have 10 trilogo MOCs or 5 Palitoy MOCs any day.

Loose prices are crazy now, I know this has been happening for a while but still.

Yesterday I saw a loose graded Amanam for £225 BIN or around that price and then also a graded MOC POTF Amanaman for £275 BIN!

I think I have a better chance of getting a MOC VC Jawa beater than a nice loose one. Maybe I'm going a bit far here but it seems to be going that way.

I turned down a MOC 12 back VCJ with ink touch ups on the card for £750 in 2012

I would have as well, mainly because I was skint in 2012.

Just looked on eBay and there is an U graded Amanam for £330! That's £55 more expensive than the MOC listed. I'm tempted by the MOC one, it's a very good price.

Yeah it's getting to the point where a lot of last 17 figures are now almost as much loose as they are carded thanks to the FB trade in loose accessories. Until recently Toni was selling carded POTF A-Wing Pilots, Imperial Dignitaries, Ewoks, R2s etc for similar to loose prices. Eventually of course he cottoned on.
