Wow you have quite the extensive run of these Lars & Matthieu that's one I must admit I have never seen before myself, must be rare if you've only ever seen 2 of them.

I got this version when I eventually got an X wing, but have to say much like the B.D Tie I prefer the previous incarnations without the B.D, good selling point from the vendors aspect though, just reissue the same toy with some different stickers, marketing genius

I don't have a battle damaged one Lars, I only have a few of the ships & only the baggie related special offer versions as my display space is very limited, so I do have one, just not this version.

it's not the ship in a baggie, it was an offer where 2 figures in baggies were included, some of the accessories can also be bound in baggies.

You should have a read of section 100 on the baggie guide as it covers most of the special offer vehicles & play sets, it's a good read & some awesome items IMO, here's my X wing - sorry I know it's not the right version for this thread but you seem to be interested

No problem Frank, I can't wait to see it again in the x-wing thread when I do that thread I must admit I have not read the baggie guide because I do not collect baggies and then again I have a few of them in my collection I will take a look on section 100 when I am done moving I think it is the first time I have seen that special offer box, it look so cool even with wrong figures

Yes the assortment of figures was rather random, just stock they wanted to move I assume.

Sounds like a bad sales strategy for kenner, I guess the bespin guard was not a favorite figure for kids, I loved the one I has when I was a kid
