Hi,

How much do you guys think one needs to spend on a carded Top Toys Yoda with a bit of bubble cruching? C6 condition. These bubble seems to often be in a ruff condition.

Thanks!

Yoda & Luke Jedi are close to the 'hardest' to get. Luke with partially sealed bubble was $1000+ from memory.

I think that's was the one Sergio brought? He later sold it on ebay (loose/complete) in early 2013 for £625 GBP / $1000 USD. The card was sold last week, I'm unsure of the price but still have the burst bubble attached.

Prices are sketchy for the rarer Top Toys as they rarely come up for sale.

It's worth noting that the plastic used is very brittle and finding a complete belt, even split with VERY HARD!, if this one is intact bite the sellers arm off! As for the bubbles again if is still attached BINGO!, however the glue Top Toys used is naff and may have dropped off. You will find loads of Top Toy examples for sale with popped open bubbles, some leave the card unmarked!?!?

From my notes....

Yoda prices on the other hand, again from 2013

Loose/complete (1/2 the belt missing) and AFA graded.....£196 GBP / $314 USD
Loose minus belt....£186 GBP / $298 USD

I picked up my Yoda complete (with belt) on a MINT card, with the bubble popped off for £281 GBP / $450 USD and sold the card for £65 GBP / $105 USD

I hope this helps?

Thanks for the replys!
The one I'm looking at is fully sealed, and as I can see the bubble is a bit crushed on top and stem, but no cracks. I can't find any records for a sale, and guessing everything has gone behind closed doors. Any info on price with fully sealed?

thanks!

Hmmm, this one was sold on ebay September 2013 and it's from Brainstoys....

There listed price is $699 USD

Here's a close up off the split belt inside the bubble, like I say finding one intact is like trying to find rocking horse sh*t !!

This was the one I purchased, typical popped bubble and stapled...

After removing the staples the card looked minty mint...

Thanks so much! That is really good advice and insight to take with me in a potential deal.
