Toltoys Jawa loose

How can you tell the difference between a standard Kenner VC Jawa to a Toltoys VC Jawa? If it's graded then it says so on the label what if they are loose? Any way to tell the difference?

Much darker, don't get fobbed off with a Ben cape though :lol:

Cape is darker as other have mentioned and quite often the legs and arms of the figures are discoloured with greenish blue spots which is thought to be caused by the vinyl cape.

There are other ways to tell but I won't mention it on a public forum or dodgy repro but nuggets will know how to fake their Obi Wan capes to match :lol:

There are tell tales to the Jawa and cape, if you have one wich you doubt or wanna have confirmed before buying just send me some detailed pictures.

The cape is darker (check out my avitar), but unfortunately it a similar color to Ben's cape and can be easily faked. Make sure the seller has good providence if it's a loose one and make sure it came from Australia. Good luck!

I don't know if it is easily faked, maybe if you know all the tell tales, but i haven't seen one to date.
Also had a few going through my hands and helped to verify a few more through pictures and i noticed that even the figure has it telltales in his shape (besides the Common spots On his limbs).

Provenance is key, but verification is the best way to go, since people make up alot of bullshit stories these days.

Have to shut up about TT VC Jawa's now, because i almost wanna start the hunt for one for myself again.

(I still have mine and are also not that bad on the telltales )

The thing really is: If we would post our knowledge, he fakers would have corrected theirs pretty fast

Id say ben cape, the arm holes look a bit to big for a jawa to me.

I never understand this arm holes are too big thing, IF you were to use a Ben cape you would not reuse the arm holes..... ps. figure in question seems to have eyes that are too small.
