I'm starting to think the auction pages really aren't good for peoples expectations price wise, currently there is an imperial dignitary with 4 hours to run on £63

Without nose rubs they easily hit £65 on fleabay, one a few weeks back hit £145 !!

Worst figure ever ! Decided not to collect last 17 , personally I think most of them are crap !! And crazy money !!

Frank will be thrilled with this

£37 for a Cloud Car Pilot...

He's a tough one, I have seen the mic alone sell for £20 odd on eBay for a long time so IMO £35ish is about right for him at the moment. But yes annoying that without the mic he is only worth about £7-8!

The monies in the com link, and as Edd says that's a £20 accessory any day of week.

I questioned that one and the seller was a little surprised but at least an auction is transparent.

I'm not a fan of the auctions where the starting bid is already silly high.

Fictitious but take Imp Dig.

Starting bid £50 and £5 increments. Newbies are sucked in.

I'm not a fan of high starting prices and tend to start all my stuff at 99p to get a good auction frenzy going. Most auction tend to reach there market value after the first few bids anyway.

Because it looks so much better like that than on the card. OBVIOUSLY!
Duh!

Managed to pick up a FB bargain, £12 posted for a complete Tusken with just some wear to arm holes. I think that's a good price :D

Seeing more and more of these lately, has anyone actually brought one?

I have a Jawa card and figure mounted like this but paid GBP40!

Yeah but at least that's a sensible price. Imagine having a full set of 96 like that, how much space you would need!

I could understand it with a proof card or sliced bubble cardback, but with half the cardback ripped it looks awful!

the only way a ripped card would look good would be if were a rare foreign card.

and if it originally came off that card from new. which is unlikely.

Just seen a post on the Star Wars collection group by a man called Norman Alexander Waite, advertising reproduction weapons and accessories that he is making himself. He has advertised quite openly as well. Get on there and hound him out people.

A loose pop up R2 sold for £250 !!

And now any mention of price advising/bashing has been banned.... get ready for a free for all on prices going even higher now..

Tricky one. Damned if they don't, damned if they do.

Fundamentally, if people want it enough then they'll pay regardless.
