And on the auction group another naked jawa that is the elusive vcj type. Starting at £35.......

People need to do some research.

And Simon, don't you dare buy it. You should know better!
What the ****? A £5 Jawa without the £1000 cape for £35?

Yep. The guy has the cape and blaster as well. He's quite open about the fact he is selling it all separately as he thinks he will get max profit by doing it this way.

And now trying to justify that one sold for £91 and no one cared.... tw@t

I thought an auction site was to start prices low and go from there... not start at current market price or in this case 5 times its true value !!

Don't worry, I have told him to park it. Don't make sense instead of selling all to one buyer, selling to 20 different buyers and if 1-2 goes missing you have to refund and that's your $30 lost!!

Really f@$k annoyed. A guy posted for sale 20-30 loose Jawas, I messaged him for a price for all of them, he wrote back saying some are sold and the rest I will do it for $320 shipped. I replied how about $300 and we have a deal. He replied saying no, so I said ok $320 and he said it is now $350. What an ass!! :x

So who was it Simon?

Steve Dembo

I thought it might be him - saw he had a lot of them for sale.

Make no business sense to me, he justify the price hike because he is trying to fund a purchase, everyone does that. Now the sale has calmed down he still has 9 to sell at over $100 worth of stock, if he sold the lot he would be $70+ better off and only have to post one parcel rather than multiple, plus time its going to take him to pack and label multiple parcels. Tut tut tut.......... :D

Ask him for a price for the lot, when he comes back at say $200, say - 'what about $220?' Then when he says yes, say 'it's $180 now'.

What a lollercoaster.

I've recently come back to the hobby after years out of it and to be fair it was the FB group that brought me back. I was genuinely enjoying the sense of community... but I have to say (and I don't have a horse in this race as I've been off here so long) there are some prats on there.

They were aughing at a newbie the other day who dared ask what 'ERG' was and worst of all was one self-appointed moral guardian who took fake offence at innocuous comments and tagged threads with the names of zealous mods and got people kicked off.

I do think it will prosper, as it is convenient for people, but I do hope some (not all) learn to take themselves slightly less seriously.

Went a bit strange tonight. Some wanted to pause selling today to honour Carrie Fisher and others took offence.
