Today on Facebook...

I bought one of that guy's Luke XWings when he was offering free postage. It's very nice but I was quite casual about it really.

some of those 100 will be spitting feathers when there lxw come with a nose rub. there not all perefct as he states.

That luke xwing sale was incredible. It was pack mentality at its finest.

Those have been available on eBay for ever. You have been able to buy one for years direct from the guy. Watching what happened there was like watching the flash sale all over again.

It also goes to show again the ignorance of some people. They are overstock figures sent in bulk to oz. it doesn't matter what they were sent in. And people are asking for letters confirming the amazing story of these figures. Punk pat and Iain amongst others have boxes of overstock figures. Yes they are usually real nice condition but they are obviously selling them wrong.

And the other thing, people going on about how they are getting a paint error figure. They aren't paint errors, the paint has been badly applied. They are probably qc rejects.

Good luck to anyone who's got one. But in the cold light of day all you have is an expensive loose figure without the gun.

With people climbing over each other still trying to get in the list on echo! To be fair he did them at £8 each plus postage on echo but that's having all 100 posted to one person who's then going to part them out so he should give a bloody good discount to sell 100 of these in one go with little packaging to do.

It all boils down to the hype. Once they start selling the fear of missing out takes over. I expect a few of these to be appearing over the next month as people get them and realise they aren't what they thought.

I'm going to struggle to bite my tongue though when people start referring to them as "the palitoy paint error loose luke x wing Australia find"

They aren't a paint error.

They have just been badly painted at the factory.

Unless you call uneven finishes, odd sized eyes, overspray and general rubs and chips a paint error.

People who collect stuff like that are usually known as poch collectors ;)

It's almost like trading stocks and shares on some sites. Someone will sell something, like a red bar r5. A load of people will have never seen it before and then try to buy it. The price goes through the roof as sellers twig and list their spares.

Get it right and you would make a killing.

a red bar was snagged v quickly @ £100 on a popular group on jabbas auctions one finished @ £160 in the past week! crazy
