I've now almost completed my first 21 loose run (settled on Red Snag but missing that desirable Leia blaster) but turned my attention to a few figures I have over from a box of beaten up, dirty figures. I'm just making sure if anything is a variant of sorts? I got a few Luke X wings and couple of Stormtroopers but ill start with my 3Tie fighters . 1 x Hong Kong coo, 1x no coo but seems to be moulded over? I can feel with my hands there's something there but can't really see it? Also it hasn't any emblems on either side of its helmet? They look as if there never was some rather then rubbed off?
Wondered if some one could help please?

That's the No COO version - normally harder to find - so great find

Couple of good places to reference the different variations here -

Think that is known as the 'ghost COO' - mainly found in TFPs

Thanks for the reply and helpful links Iain . I'll keep him to one side then. Always a nice figure and got a few of them so maybe a little loose focus. Them sites are great !

As regards the helmet emblems being missing? Is that something that is left off in factory or they been rubbed off? I doubted the later as the emblems on shoulders are fine
Cheers lads

Taiwan Tie fighter?? Are you sure? The helmet emblems can/will rub off before the arm emblems as the torso/head plastic is different to the limb plastic .
