Thoughts on this display

What's the thoughts on this idea i have , ive never displayed any figures before so this is my 1st venture and have no idea if it will look good or not or if it's been done /Tried before ?

Idea to display a complete collection of loose figures ..

Buy one of these cabinets

These are only a rough example and perfect images would need to be found and thought out properly , but get images like this printed by a company in perfect size for behind each shelf , maybe on sticky vinyl or whatever is best to use , and work out what scenes and what order to have them in, and place the appropriate figures on each shelf in front of the back drop

I'd appriciate your thoughts and suggestions and any sort of images that are better etc as ive only done this via a quick google, and you guys are way way more expirienced and knowledgable at all this than myself

Is also love to know/see any pics or info if this has been done or tried befire as im sure I can't be the 1St person to think of this , but I just thought it might be visually better than a plain background and possibly give a great effect , or if it would be too much or not ?

Here goes...

Star Wars , sort of like this with the logo and Stars behind, with the main first figures, Luke leia organa Han solo r2d2 c3p0 etc etc

Tattooine

Luke farm boy, ob wan , maybe r2, cp, if not above and jawas, tusken Raiders etc etc

Death star/empire with Vader , emperor, storm troopers, the death commander and madine etc etc

Hoth
Luke , Han , Leia hoths, snow troopers, hoth wampa and all the hoth related figures

Endor

All the endor figures and ewoks , chewbacca with the net carrying cp30 in bits, a speeder bike with scout etc you get the drift

Bespin

All the bespin figures and lando, cloud car pilot etc etc

And some sort of background for jabbaa palace

With jabba ,gamorean guards, rancor keeper , bounty hunters,luke jedi, leia boush, max Rebo band etc

Thanks guys , I don't think it would be too hard to do , what do you think on the actual themes ? Anything else that could be added or swapped Etc ? There can only be 7 , and im not sure until I get all my figures out and lay them out in shelf order so to speak to see if thered enough of each to fill a shelf or maybe done halved shelves or something

And what sort of background for the jabba one do you think would work best ? Anyone got any better pics or ideas to use the jabba ?

If it were just figures (not including Jabba) either would be alright.

I think if you were having the fully Jabba set as well, ideally it would be good if you could get one of the throne room facing towards where Jabba's throne sits...if that makes sense?

Yeah I get what you mean and tried to find such , have s look and see what you can find ?

I've got a full jabba set and Max Rebo band , so want to put them in there on the bottom shelf

There was in the modern line a jabba's throne room that would essentially give you the background. There's bound to be something similar that's perhaps even more suitable somewhere on the internet.

Good idea with the back drops depicting the different scenes.

I don't think Madine would be too happy in the Death Star/Empire scene though,

Has anyone got expirience with, or anyone on here who can do the printing of the backgrounds ? Or any idea what to do ie vinyl or card or whatever and how to go about it ?
