Is that what they call the 5150 guitar? Had a go at the paint job on a old strat copy a few years ago. Looked ok but a bit too new looking. Like the distressed ****ed up look.
The strat I have now is a mad one. US 80's body in cream which has some lovely wear on it. Hardrock maple neck with a nice flame to it. It has jumbo frets which i'm not that keen on. Gold Gotoh machine heads. Gold screws and bits. Strat standard pick ups. Mule humbucker. Locked down trem. Copper insulated circuit recess. Uprated pots. It rocks 8) Could be better because the neck has a slight bow at the body end and it chokes slightly on the real high notes.
