Not a prop. In-store promo item to promote TPM toys. I picked up one of these plus the smaller Droid Fighter this was displayed with (3 of them, if I recall correctly) from this forum for a fraction of the price this has already reached. I've messaged the seller but expect it to be ignored.

Why would someone drop this sort of money on something like this without doing some basic research?

I sent the seller a message a few days ago telling them exactly what it was. I was surprised to get a response at all, but it was only "many thanks". They had time to add that info to the auction but chose not to. Nice. Still, limited sympathy for the idiots who bid on it.

Good that you contacted the seller to at least offer them the opportunity...not surprised no alteration was made to the description though...the almighty dollar reigned above the lowly moral, once more...

I agree that those who bid so much without patently doing their due diligence sadly only have themselves to blame.
