Hi all,

Has anyone bought from twinkle_toes09 on the bay?A link to his feedback is below.

http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=twinkle_toes-09&ftab=AllFeedback&seeallfeedback=See%20All%20Feedback&myworld=true

The guy had aload of AFA up for sale that was finishing on Monday night and I 'won' a Pali 65 HST AFA 85 for £57,not bad I thought.

I sent payment straight away even thought he guy had a low feedback score.

Just clicked onto ebay to see when I can expect my item and noticed he is no longer a registered user.

Have I been 'done' and will I need to open a dispute with pay-pal.

Advice pls lads.

Lee thats terrible mate. I hope you get refunded from Paypal.

Grant.

PS Id rather the Pali HST tho than £57.

Grant,

Cheers pal,I'm just gald I didn't bid on much else he had a number of higher value items a fair few 12/21 backs.

I bidded £210 for a 12 Back-a Han graded 75 and it went for £230,thank **** I didn't win that one.

That really sucks Lee. I wish ebay would give recent buyers some kind of heads up as to why the seller is no longer registered. I had this happen to me once, but from what I remember it was only a $10-$20 item, so I gave it time to show up. The seller did pull through for me in that case. I hope that happens to you or you get your money refunded. Let us know what happens.

Reckon so Jukesy,I've tried to contact him earlier today but no response as yet, don't think I'll get one either.

Also just tried to post a link with a load of items he was selling but it won't work.,keeps saying items 'no longer available'

I reckon he's probably sold the best part of £2-2.5k worth of figures the other night. If you look at his feeback he's probably drove off with the stash in his new £102 Mondeo. :D

Ive opened up a dispute case but it takes 45 days before anything happens  i sent him two messages before i paid (always wait for total value before paying) which he never answered or replied to but i thought £100 for a AFA 80 20-back R5-D4 was a super price and i got lucky...turns out i might be wrong :( but fingers crossed he has just closed his account after selling everything and we all get our figures.

What gets me is Ebay know who has paid and who hasn't so why don't they do jack about it??

**** guys! :( What a fiasco! New users selling high grade MOC - I was talking about this kind of thing the other day, you can really luck out on things sometimes but other times you run into these problems :(

Have you got his email address or any address/phone numbers???

I once had the same thing happen, a seller got suspended from ebay for negative feedback and I **** myself, luckily he contacted me through email and said it wasn't his fault but was happy to send the item free of charge whilst he defended himself against the negative comments and got his account back on track, I was very lucky and received my item.

I really hope you guys can get this sorted out, please keep us updated!

Lee,
as soon as i opened up a claim form the seller has sent me the tracking number which is valid, i should hopefully receive this tomorrow according to the royal mail so fingers crossed for us both! Open up a dispute with the reasons 'seller no longer registered' and 'item no longer available' etc and see if he does the same.

Sounds like good news Jukesy, and even better if you have a point of contact Lee, hopefully this has flagged up because of some other incident and you both receive your items, good luck !

Thanks Joe,
i shall keep you informed guys, i paid for special delivery and i should receive the figure tomorrow according to the royal mail track 'n' trace. Opening up a dispute may be the only way to get some sort of reaction from him if he doesn't reply to emails etc

Considering he has no negatives on his feedback this must be unrelated, probably a mini suspension because of the value of the items he had for sale and his low feedback?

It would be interesting to get some news on any direct conversation you get with the seller, if I was the one suspended from ebay with deals going on I know I would be up all night sending emails to my concerned buyers!!

Someone over on SWC (ebay SW forum) bought his squid head and has recieved it today!
He's really happy with it, so hopefully the seller will come thru for you all.

That is even better news! Good update Del!

Cheers for the info Del,the guy had about 25 items up for sale so it would take a few trips to the PO to get them all out to everyone.
Hopefully nothing to worry about then, just me getting a bit twitchy.

I don't think you were the only one mate.

I would be worried too, but it looks like things will work out ok.

Just a note to everyone who may be concerned with this thread.

I've had an e-mail from the seller explaining that because of the amount of items, and therefore money, that was paid into there pay-pal account in a short space of time,pay-pal in their wisdom have decided to temporarily suspend their account whilst they provide further verification details.

All this when according to the seller they're already verifed(just checked the pay-pal transaction and they are verified).

All items have been posted out and should be received shortly, and that should be the end of that.

All's well that ends well. :D

Fingers crossrd for you Lee and Jukesy.

BTW Jukesy, I was wathcing that R5 as well, but totally forgot about it!
