Ebay sales tax.

Hope you are well.

If im selling part of my collection do I need to declare it? I'm not selling for profit as per a business seller but just as a hobby.

Any advice appreciated.

Hi Lee, it's a really difficult situation now on eBay. If you sell more than £1000 or more then 30 items it's classed as a business as far as I'm aware. Bloody annoying not 100% sure but it's so difficult now

It would be nice if it was as straight forward as the eBay page makes it look, sadly if you try putting the "Ben from London" example into the online checker you are apparently a sole trader:
