Episode 23 of The Vintage Rebellion Podcast lands with a host of eclectic guests for this months bumper edition.

Christian Carnus, or Bobby Bobs as he's known by so many, joins the team for this month's interview. Christian talks about his blog, his Luke Skywalker focus, Tantive XI amongst many many other things.

Rebel Briefings brings you two guests as Richard talks with Ron Salvatore regarding repurposed wax sculpts to create later figures, and he also welcomes Phil Heeks who discusses his new book which is one mans tale of waiting for Star Wars back in 1978 and his experience thereafter.

In this months Oddballs Grant is joined by Peter Harmacek as they take a doorway to the beginning, they discuss the latest high definition fan attempt to restore the movie that started it all.

And if that wasn't enough guests Peter brings an outstanding interview with David Jordan, owner of Jordan's, a shop in Leamington Spa where Pete use to purchase his toys back in the day in this month's market section.

As well as all these outstanding guests we have the NA where Jez discusses almost every purchase in the community over the last month.

Enjoy the show!!!

Enjoying it so far, I had no idea about the 3PO miscard, what a discovery! For those who also may have missed it:

Me too!!! That is the coolest vintage figure I've ever seen. Amazing to see stuff like this still turn up.

I'm also incredibly unhappy with Rich for finding four trilogo R5s AND a miscard in the time I've been looking for one of the buggers :)

Just finished it, really enjoyed this one. Some amazing things in the various LA threads that I hadn't spotted. Loved Pete's interview with the toy shop owner, fascinating stuff. Grant had the patience of a saint with Harmy, I didn't think you were going to get a word in

Oh and if anybody from the tantive xi site is reading, please stop calling your developers "mechanics." They fix cars, we make websites ;)

Whiled away a long drive down south with this one chaps. Enjoyable as ever and particularly enjoyed the Jordan's interview

But disappointed that Pete didn't get my entry for the olympics :(

Also enjoyed the LA and the mention of Peekaygee and Carters in Bradford - my Klaatu came from there too in '91. They still had a bin full of them :)

Loved the episode as I always do. Have a soft spot in my heart for the Christian interview. He's one of the collectors I admire the most in the hobby. Contributes so much to the hobby, and always has his head on straight. Loved the interview.

Loving it so far and chuffed to have won at least one round of the character game :) well I did have entries in every round

Another great podcast and found the breakdown of the despecialized film really interesting as well as hearing some price numbers thrown out about the chap who used to own the toy shop (funny to hear how Palitoy were strong-arming shop owners into taking their crap they couldn't shift  ).

One slight disappointment for me was hearing Grants theories of Rey's parentage at the very end as it does sound like a very sound theory but I've been trying to avoid reading, hearing or even thinking about anything like this so as not to spoil my new trilogy experience. Maybe keeping these kinds of thoughts off of the show would be a good idea (not really much of a grumble and I do think you might be onto something Grant)?

Keep em' coming! (the shows and not the theories) :D

9 actually - I had a few doubles. Don't worry Edd when I find one for £18.50 it has your name on.

Hi Guys, really enjoying it, three hours in and counting...
Do you have a link to the picture of the Imperial Transport repurposed as a Rebel troop carrier?
Cheers

Just finished - another great job guys. I thought Petes interview with the toy shop owner was excellent and really informative - really insightful to hear things from the other side of the counter!
