I am pretty sure this has been mentioned in past but cannot find an old thread relating to it.

What do you guys think will happen to the value of vintage star wars in years to come.

Will it continue to increase?

Stay the way it is at the moment?

or

Slowly decline?

I am aware most of the hardcore collectors and those who are willing to spend loads are those who live through the star wars era.

It is a similar topic in the old bmx scene those who lived during the 80s with bmx are paying loads for their childhood dream bikes etc

They could well do what they have done for the past 30 or so years, go and go down in value.

In terms of pure collecting, it depends on the popularity of Star Wars, and also the rate at which the toys degrade.

Supply and demand at the end of the day.
