The 'Perfect' Star Wars Age?

1974 for me, so I guess you could say the ideal age.

Got most of the early figures and most of the smaller vehicles (Land Speeder, X-Wing). Didn't actually see Star Wars until it was shown on ITV in 1982! So I had all these toys and didn't know the stories - I guess I just made it up as I went along.

I made up for it when Jedi came out as I watched three times in a week when I was on holiday. I think I ended up watching 7 times in 1983 alone!

Born Feb 70. I remember my Mum taking me and my sisters to the Carlton Cinema (corner of Green Lane and West Derby Rd for any other scousers) to see Star Wars when it was first released. Remember getting most of the SW figures. Recall getting a VCJ and a Palitoy Death Star as well.

I first saw ROTJ on a pirate video!
Had a few figures from Jedi but was growing out of it. Don't recall even seeing the POTF figures.

Just spoke to my Mum over this and she reckons half the kids in our street came to see SW as well!
