Wow! Loving the 'Flame Trooper'!

Wonder how many new designs we'll see in the new film. The new 'Regular' stormtrooper looks amazing.

Oh no, first Camelot lightsabres and now flame throwers!? What next, X-Wings with 8 wings? Why does everything need to be 'on steroids' in all new films. And what was wrong with the original Stormtrooper outfits?

Yes sorry I'm in the Episode 7 sceptics club I'm afraid! It's just a pet hate of mine from all recent reboots/sequels etc. Movie makers these days seem to assume everybody is an idiot and unless all the guns are bigger nobody will watch it.

Its funny that if you read some of the reviews of the OT from back when they were first released you'll see many film critics said much the same about them!

I read an old issue of Starburst the other day from '83 which reviewed Return Of The Jedi, and it was a pretty damn negative review - and this was from a sci-fi specialist magazine!

Stormies look good, but the flamethrower is a bit old hat considering they have blaster technology... bet they still cant hit a barn door with it though.

Im happy for you guys but am still not interested. My own opinion is they look too tarted up. The troopers with capes?? no thanks Flamethrowers?? I suppose we will see a galactic Chtitty Chitty bang bang soon

I really do hope this movie is what you guys want, but its not for me JJ has gone way OTT, and im glad im staying away from this and i will not watch ANY new Star Wars film for the rest of my days. The PT i can tolerate as it has links to the OT, so 6 movies is my lot.

By the way, you do realise the villain in those pics is Jar Jar dont you ??
