well its my annually check on imdb.com too see how the power of the crystal is coming (a dark crystal prequel kinda thing). and its looks like its been canned which is a relieve because it would of been over done with cgi, compared to the original which had entire puppetry magic. a true epic film legacy remains intact. one of my top 10 films of all time

Loved the dark crystal as a kid, got the dvd for christmas a couple of years ago, and it's just as good now as it was back in the day,
would love to see a prequel done the jim henson way though.

the women that does the voice of kira (gelfling) is none other than lisa maxwell, who appears on loose women sometimes on itv1 and she used to be in the bill aswell
