TFA Trailer

On another note, the music is really powerful and nice to hear the main theme executed in another way. Mr Williams never disappoints.

Very true! I just watched it again and the music from the halfway point really is epic.

Also do they seem to be saying that the Jedi and Sith are sort of 'myths' to the common people? I guess hardly anyone saw Jedi stuff with their own eyes, maybe regular people don't believe it? What happened in the Emperor's throne room stays in the throne room!

Really like the start with Rey exploring the inside of the wrecked Star Destroyer (presumably), has a real Indiana Jones mixed with Alien feel to it. Not as emotional overall as the last offering, but it does look like its going be an epic story... there seems to be a lot of elements to pull together in one film!

Well I just woke up and my other half had it all ready to show me

Yes looks awesome! Looks like it has all the elements for a top movie 8)

Wow, the music is truly amazing and the trailer ain't bad either.

Do we need a TFA speculation thread - for people to avoid or read depending on whether they want to? Would hate to spoil things for someone by blurting out a potential spoiler ...

Fuuuuck!!!

That was different, but nonetheless cool!

The film looks like it might be both action packed and quite deep!

I agree, to me it looks very deep, also the music sounds deep and sad

The other thing is that were starting to get the first hints of the 'acting', and to tell the truth it already looks better performed and more emotionally real than any of the balsa wood in the prequels!

That just about does it for me, won't be able to work today as I watch that every half hour...

Seriously, loved it, the music is fantastic, the original theme is there but presented in a fantastic way, the imagery is amazing and the effects look spot on. It is a different type of clip than previous ones, but it hints and a deep story with a lot going on and that line from Han, "They're true... All of the," somehow that is better than the "we're home" line.

I am now picturing a universe split in two, of constant war and a struggle to hold it together, with the tide slipping back toward the "Empire" and the Jedi are still missing with some sort of last ditch mission by Han to find his old friend and picking up the new kids along the way...

After eight hours of hitting refresh yesterday I finally got opening day tickets, and after this trailer.... Can't wait.

I said it from the moment Disney appointed Abrams as director to SW7..."In JJ we trust", and he doesn't look like he's going to let us down. Can't wait to see TFA now, 00:01 showing for me :D

Oh my, oh my, oh my. It is better than expected.

Bought my tickets to the midnight session, told my son he's going as Jar Jar (not really, but its fun to see him react) and under two months to wait.

Wow.

Still, I'm wondering about the lack of Luke.....

I am also wondering about luke, it is so strange :?

Loved the trailer!

Bought my tickets for the opening day. Don't recall ever being this excited about a films release.

I think Luke's not in the poster because he's not in it until the very end. I understand they go looking for him. And Luke isn't Kylo Ren as I wrongly concluded and a friend reminded me he's played by Adam Driver and there's a photo of him without his mask.

It's a good trailer, doesn't give much away but we get a clearer idea if where the characters are coming from. Looks good, and that music! I was afraid of watching it but I don't think it spoils anything. 2 months, not long now.

It was sensational. The shot of X-Wings opening their S-foils and having the same blaster sounds gave me goosebumps! :D
The JW music just drifting in at the right moment.

Even if this film turns out to be garbage (and I don't think it will be) you have to admit these have been absolutely genius SW trailers, enough dangling carrots for the old school while still keeping a modern take and not giving much away.

Looks mint and as some have already said, looks like there could well be a proper dark looking storyline along with some decent acting.

Chuck in some original cast members, Falcons, X Wings, TIE fighters, what more could you ask for.

Me,I can't wait........I'm wishing the next 8 weeks of my life away :D

Daisy Ridley's reaction was posted earlier on instagram, here is John Boyega's (a bit more exuberant!)..

It's crossed my mind that Luke is another character, possibly Kylo. I love no one knows about the force, fifty years since the clone wars which was the last public Jedi display, it would be all just a myth to most...
