Tales of the Empire

Anyone else checked this one out yet.

Personally I really enjoyed it - I thought it was better than Tales of the Jedi.

I enjoyed getting a bit more of the backstory to Morgan Elsbeth and as normal DF couldn't resist giving us more Clone Wars throwback characters and images (I am not complaining - I love it)
The Barriss story was OK, probably the weaker of the two, I did liked finding out what happened to her after her naughty behaviour in the Clone Wars, even though it was a touch predictable.

With no big animation project on the horizon I hope we get more of this short form story telling.

To much like porn. They skip all the world building and character building for a bridged money shot.

Its great content, but short changed. Amazing graphics.

Better than filler for the sake of filler though like Bad Batch

Well I liked it the stories. But it could have been much better.

But I think the episodes was to short and there was a to large timeline jump between the episodes. I think it would have been better if disney had made 2 tv series where they came deeper into the stories. Everything was going so fast

Can't get myself into the TV adaptations. Is Mando best place to start. ?

I think the order to watch things (as they are all part of the same universe) is:

Clone Wars Movie (2007)
The Clone Wars seasons 1-7
The Bad Batch seasons 1-3
Rebels Season seasons 1-4
Tales of the Jedi
Tales of the Empire
The Mandalorian seasons 1-2
the Book of Boba Fett
The Madalorian season 3
Ahsoka (rebels season 5 in disguise)

But if animation isn't part of it, then Mando is the best place to start
