I can't believe the hype that this guy has around him, the Star Wars breakbeat album he did in the mid 90s was good though

:roll: its so strange,, art and non art and counter art you cant win,, everything is art these days i could crap in my hand throw it at a wall break the wall off with a sledge drag it into a gallery call it "frustration at art" and

A. i would be and overnight art superstar.

B. Be arrested on the spot and sectioned??

it is gone nuts and self serving litle clique that fuels itself. :evil:

Too true, a mate of mine once worked at a University in Melbourne in maintenance. He would quite often witness the Uni spending tax payers money on bullshit sculptures around campus. One day after he finished doing repairs to some chairs he noticed his paint splattered drop sheet looked looked up to the same standard as some of this commissioned artwork. He promptly gave it a frame, titled it the Chaotic Chair and hung it in the Official University art gallery.

There it sat amongst some of Australia's most highly decorated artworks for 8 months until he summonsed to the Deans office for an explanation. He copped a right dressing down but kept his job, to save their own embarrassment.

It now takes pride of place on his dunny wall where he reckons it rightfully belongs.

i am gonna get a kid to paint something then run over it with car ,, shoot it ,, burn it a bit,, varnish it and sell it.
to me that takes no skill,, i have been scribbling for years and i still cant draw, but if i make a mess with a message ,, i am an artist?? :roll:

however your stuff dog is actually art,, why,, because its actually good
