We are all under pressure in different ways, given the current state of affairs , that in turn brings stress of different degrees

Today was one of those days for me, but I have just sat in the garden for half an hour and this is what I think!

A spring evening

As I sit and listen to the evening birdsong,
A choral pleasure from the treetop throng,
I look to the skies of pleasant blue,
At incidental clouds of puffed white hue,
The trees that sway in a gentle breeze,
The squirrel on branch the buzz of busy Bees,
As the light slightly fades from the sunny day,
A while longer I'll tarry and put I'll stay,
And wonder at what joy I have been granted,
A peaceful repost where I am enchanted,
If we but take a moment step back , take a look,
At what we have around us then by hook or crook,
We will remember there's beauty all around,
All we need to do, is stop look and listen to a world refound

Did me some good anyway!

Thanks for sharing mate. I've had some sad shocking news today. One of the guys I work with was found dead at work last night from a heart attack only 40 poor guy. I didn't know him hardly at all as we worked in different departments but did say hi a couple of times. May he R.I.P.

I found the garden a good escape, I got a spade and dug some of it up over a few days. I've now planted garlic, onions, parsley, carrots and peas. Everything is coming along nicely.
