Horrible horrible. There can be no justification for something like that. Sad to say when I heard six people (they only said six initially) had been shot in the offices of a French magazine, I just knew it would be Muslim extremists.

Ok, two guys pointing a gun at you and your kid is gonna scare the **** out of anyone, but WTF did she think they were going to do when she let them in? Go up and have a polite chat about French foreign policy. She's basically swapped her life, and that of her child, for those of TWELVE equally innocent people.

We never know how we would react in that kind of situation, self preservation is a strong emotion. I hope I would do the 'right thing' in that situation, but I could probably let twelve people die to keep my family safe.
