Yeh yeh I know i havent exactly started at the shallow end

I don't know if price is a big factor in your decision but if it isn't then it's an easy one... Death Star Droid all the way! It's a figure that seems to appear less regularly in people collections tho can still be picked up for relatively reasonable prices (except the trilogo). Also, it's one of those figures that you just don't get to see mint unless you own a carded version.

ps. i think you've posted the DSD 21bk pic twice.

**** me Liam, where do you find them???!

Stay away from the Jawa's as they are boring as hell :p :p :p

Not 100% sure on the Palitoy logo ESB's but I'd probably expect £100 for R5D4 and the Power Droid. They look in decent shape but I wouldn't pay more than that

I think that you have to make a decision when collecting MOCs whether you want to collect the figures/cards that you like whatever the cost or whether you want to collect cards with one eye on their value

You can do both but this will mean that it can take a while to get the ones that you want and the prices you want

I don't mind paying on or around market value for cards that I need now but when I started I was only trying to pick up those that I knew where cheaper than they should be - for me the decision to pick which one of these I would add to my collection would come down to the price being charged.

I also think the DSD is a quality figure and carback. I love the combination of purple, black and silver. Works really well. If it was me, I think I would go for the nicer of the DSD's on the Star Wars card personally.

Oh and price.
What numbers are on the back means nothing to me (i am a bit thick when it comes to "backs") so i often get this wrong but i would pay about £170-£190 for the ESB DSD. £150-160 for the SW DSD.
The Jawa i guess £100-120.
The Power Droid with the creased card i'd say £90-£110

ps. aware that i often value items too low, i am aiming higher than i usually would. Take that how you will.

Hi Guys Thank you for the advice. 8)

These are all my fav characters (minus yoda) so for me it then comes down to price! Dont particulary like the AT AT Driver Lobot but that Palitoy logo drew me in!

ATM I am nudging towards the Jawa and a DSD perhaps the ESB! 8)

Nice one Liam, I think you already know for me it would be the DSD or the PD as I love them both dearly, nice finds 8)

I would go for the ESB DSD I think as its not that easy to find offer-less buddy, I know as I am still looking.

Some great looking cards there Liam.

I have a feeling the offerless 21 backs are much tougher to find than 20 backs.

Also there was a 41 back Palitoy AT AT Driver that sold for an obscene amount of money on eBay a few weeks/months ago. Like £6-700 of obeseness!!

The 20 back Jawa is one of the easier to find- and by far the most common Jawa on a SW card.

I would personally get both DSDs and start a focus ;)
I would also have the power droid and the two Palitoys

Price wise I would go £80-100 for the Jawa, Power Droid and R5 D4
£100-120 for the SW DSD
£140-160 for the ESB (looks bloody nice!)
Open chequebook for the palitoys- I have no idea dude.

Lovely selection of carded figures mate, best of luck with getting them (all ;))

I think the ESB DSD is a 31 or a 32-back. It doesn't look like a 41-back from the front.
