Start of my collection again

Hi . Well after losing all my original collection many years ago i have decided to start collecting all the vintage items again to display at home.
As you can see there is not much there right now but i only started just over a week ago so not doing too bad.
A couple of figures are very good and some reasonable same as the mini rig is very good but missing items and the x wing is missing its guns and has some slight yellowing on its seams which i will deal with at a later date.
So on the look out for vintage items now but not the higher priced items to build up the collection even more

I would defiantly used this forum as much as possible.

It can be great fun, but there are many landmines to avoid, especially in terms of cheap reproduction weapons and figures or ridiculous prices for common figures.

Hi Grant Yeah avoiding any repro stuff in all cases as something i dont want in the collection.

Yes been scanning ebay and some figures and items which are either broken or bits missing go for stupid prices .
I am looking for cheap but good figures with or without weapons really as dont want to start off with wrecked figures .
Just wish i never lost all of my original toys now as some prices are pretty high for stuff.
Ideally looking for ships as well in good condition but with bits missing so i can purchase the parts slowly over a period of time to cut out initial large outlays so if anyone has anything interesting at a good price please get in touch.

Learning more and more the more i go through this forum. Excellent site for refreshing my brain and gaining more knowledge

Nice start fella, welcome to the forum. Have a look around and do your homework before dropping large amounts of cash. As Grant mentioned it's easy to get burned. Enjoy!

Good start. And welcome back to the wonderful world of Star Wars toy collecting!

Well picked up a few more bits today which i could not resist.

First item was a lovely Dagobah Action set boxed with instructions. Still has the original swamp matting in it but is very fragile. Only thing i have noticed is wrong is there is only one silver trunk so will looking for the other to complete it. It even came with the Back pack for Luke to carry Yoda.

Next items were a set of Mini rigs . Boxed with Instructions for each one .

Also picked up some more figures in Good condition to build up my loose collection . I did get a complete Yoda as well but that is sat on the Dagobah set . The figures on the front row is the ones collected today .

Its ok . Long time ago but other things took over so never had chance to rebuild the collection till now but the prices sure have they changed since then which i have noticed lol

lol yer the prices are a lot different now been collecting nearly 19 years now. I have a few figures listed on eBay and have a load due in from a mate soon. If there is anything you are looking for feel free to PM me.
