Hi folks,

Just a quick heads up on something kinda unusual, there's some brand new Star Wars Wallpaper, not the desktop kind, but the kind you paste up on a bedroom wall, that's just become available at http://www.sacredart-murals.co.uk/Shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_2&products_id=17

I'm the artist and I know I'm biased, but I think it looks fab, and could transform many a bedroom and office for the discerning Star Wars fan.

I'd love to know what you think...

Hello all you guys, just read the advice for newbees, and yes I guess I should have introduced myself a bit better, and I also see that I'm not really selling collectibles like most chaps on here, I couldn't really find a suitable home for this post though. But it's a nice looking forum and I thought I'd give it a try.

My name is Neil Wilkinson, Gangees for fun, and I have been painting murals for a living for years. I painted this Star Wars mural because it's a theme I'm often being asked to do, and rather than keep repeating myself, I've created this printed wallpaper version which means I never have to paint this scene again (unless somebody offers me an obscene amount of money haha) The wallpaper is still a bit of an investment, but not too pricey and much cheaper than calling on the services of a professional artist..

So I just posted here on this friendly forum to try and get some feedback really, not expecting much but any comments and votes happily received. Here's a couple more pics:

Well for my 2 cents, I think that they look quality. If I was about 20 years younger then I would want them on my bedroom walls - not sure the missus would be so keen nowadays tho !!

Hi, I think it looks quite good.....But £220  That's a lot of money for a few sheets of wallpaper.....

I could get this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200571880632 for £26....

and with that i could take it down and move it. I do like it, but not to the tune of £220.

Thanks for the info Chewie, I'm not sure this seller ships to the UK, and I'm at a loss as to how he can produce these and make any profit, as the printing costs alone would be more, they certainly are here. Is there a Star Wars slave race producing these??

I know he was joking, just a bit of banter

The pics, quality is low res for web, not great for print, so not worried.

Price is aimed at a particular market, reasonably ok off families where a couple of hundred quid is a ok for a room makeover, not that high at all. Cost of production is high but so is the quality. Appreciate the thought, cost is major consideration, just guaging reaction really.

Good idea to have panels, I'm thinking of making canvas prints for a portable version, that would be a lot cheaper.

I like them, I don't think I could get away with it in our house but maybe if I had a decent sized man cave I would go for one.

I did used to have a small SW canvas print on the wall and SW art in general always looks sweet.

Good luck to you

I really like them.

Showed the wife and she said 'Yeah they're good but we're not getting them for the boys bedroom'.

My reply, 'No I agree, what about ours?'

You can imagine the response :?
