Wow sounds like an awesome weekend guys! Just a suggestion,maybe someone could carry a laptop and stream this event on the net via a free site like Justintv or Ustream for all of us that cant attend.

Any suggestions for a theme user-contribution pop up display?

GW Acrylic will be sponsoring the display.

The idea is we pick a theme and then on the day as many folk bring an item from their own collection connected to the theme and place on the display for the day.
It's pretty cool as you have no idea of the results of the exhibit until the day itself.

The theme could be something very straight forward like:
Palitoy
Darth Vader

etc etc

but some of the most interesting and engaging displays can come from a topic which leaves it very open to interpretation, for example:
The Thing I Wanted As A Kid But Never Got
Bounty Hunter Points
My Favourite Non-Figure Related Item
This Is The One Item I Would Rescue In A Fire
What Things Cost Originally
Guilty Pleasure

etc etc.
If anyone has a suggestion, we can hold a poll or something to narrow down the topic for the first display

I am also hoping to showcase (pun intended!) a few new products including Acrylic Display Steps specifically designed for IKEA display cases.

I assume that you will be taking a supply of MOC cases? I have all of my MOCs in Star Cases but may take the plunge!!

Will you have your new case design for the Meccano square cards by then?

Yeah there are loads man, a few are going up on Saturday for a beer.
