Interesting prices there from 1978. Except for a few things like comics and stickers they all seem really expensive. What did people earn then?
If you think that carded figures now are somewhere around £3.99 - 6.99 and a pint of beer is say, £2.80, what are the comparable prices now to then. We know that a carded figure was 99p - how much was a pint of beer? (that's how I compare most things :wink: )
