star wars find

Kid i go out with hounds with says he got a load of star wars ,he man stuff in his dads garage.Told me what he has but i am expecting it to be in a lot worse shape then he remembers lol. Any way if there is anything decent and he wants to part with it i told him i would put it on here first.He a good kid so if a find a vc jawa i wont be telling him its worth a fiver ,i at least offer him a tenner (joking).I dont think he will sell just wants a idea what its worth.

Going sunday afternoon so let you know if i find anything good.

I know, I know I was just being the sarcastic cu*t I always am. My mum dropped me on my head alot when I was younger. :wink:

PS If I could turn the clock back I would never have sold off my child hood collection. I managed to keep ahold of mine until around 2001/2002 before i sold it all off along with other loose figures and MIB ships/playsets that I had been acquiring around those years.

Dude I would have done the same thing myself. I was bought only one double and that was on my 8TH Birthday. It was a ROTJ Biker Scout. My mum ended up taking it back to where it was bought from and I settled for another carded figure but for the life of me I cant remember who it was. Possibly it was han Hoth as I remember braking the fingers of the first one I had. 8)

cant live on stufff you know now all we all be millionaires ,only double i got was rebel csoldiers .it was christmas and my nan gave me it and i remember pretending i was pleased so i didnt upset her lol .

On the topic of wishing we bought doubles I remember a news article from a few years back where a lad had bought 3 of every toy (or his folks had bought him 3), one the play with, one to swap with friends and one to store, anyway once he was off to uni he sold off the stored toys (transformers if memory serves) and basically paid for his entire higher education with the funds - smart kid.
But even knowing that I am not buying three of everything form my kids, not at the price of toys today
